Well, there's a been a few changes and succession planning at the workshop which, without going into too much detail should be good going forwards, with the previous manager taking a slight change of roll after 40 years at the helm! He's still there to provide his wealth of experience and leadership, but without having to be first there to open up on a morning and stay behind to lock up on a night.
We've moved and are now tucked away in a gorgeous little village east of Leeds looking out over fields and. This process has pretty much kept us occupied for the first quarter of this year as it was far from straightforward. We have the UK's rarest tree in our back garden! A native black poplar - I've named Terrance! It's caused some issues to the foundations of the house.... I'm thinking of making him our new cover image on the website. Terrance could turn out to be a Terri as there are both male and female trees but until we see the seeds in summer we're not going to know.
We'll take good care of Terrance though - he's not going to end up as a gateleg table...ever! I'd end up in jail if he did!
